Man I hope you don't choose to close your blog down Brian. It's one of the few good Joomla blogs out here (No offense to others...). I love your brash style and you 'tell it like it is'.

Brian, I sincerely hope you'll continue writing. Most of us who are considering writing a blog, have tried and could not find the right note to share our daily woes, would be left dazed and orphaned if you should quit.
But I can understand that writing it is hard work. Keeping your motivation must be a challenge, especially if you're trying to continuously bring good news ... so here's a shortlist of motivational statements I would like you to repeat to yourself whenever the blog blues hit.
1. I can't quit until 1.6 comes out / is stable / is canceled / all of the above 2. when I think of all the people who read my blog, I'm so grateful I'm affecting all their lives and I want to continue 3. this is just a phase / mid-blog crisis, it will pass and once it does, I will be glad I did not falter
Really. Keep going.

I say keep the blog. Post whenever you want, once in a blue moon if you feel like it. It will stay in my reader regardless of your posting frequency :)

Don't shut the blog down... If commentors are annoying you, just switch off the comments! Quite a few blogs now have comments switched off... Otherwise if time is the problem, don't shut the blog down, just blog when you have something in particular you want to talk about...

Hey Brian, Most folk who know you understand the hardships you've had to put up with, especially ending up in Coventry for speaking your mind.
Please reconsider this ... no one will mind if you take some time out for yourself ... so don't close the door entirely ... keep it ajar and blog when you feel you are ready.
It would be worth the wait (for all of us readers) when you do re-energise.

Ditto everybody elses sentiments. You are pretty much the only blogger out there writing anything interesting in the Joomlasphere. I dont know what your reasons are, and I know from experience that it can be daunting or time consuming coming up with content that you think we will be interested in. But hell, keep it up even if you only drop a new post once a year! I'll keep checking back.

It would be a pitty...i really enjoyd your latest video about joomla secrets. Very nice presentation and presenter with good sense of humor. Are the falling leaves disturbing you?....Man , next year the grow brand new!:) But on the other hand you will have a good reason for it i presume. I hope this blog will stay...otherwise the best of luck!
